The TOCS+ Intelligibility Measures are designed to elicit imitative productions of word and sentence items from children. Pre-recorded spoken models of each word and sentence stimulus item are included in the software. These models were recorded from an adult male native speaker of Western Canadian English. The digital audio (wav) files for these models are a separate module in the software.  If desired, spoken models can be obtained for a user’s local English dialect, and exchanged for the existing files.  For example, we have created a New Zealand English version of the Speech Intelligibility Probe for Children with Cleft Palate, using a male speaker from Auckland.
